विद्यार्थीले कलम कापी नै नल्याउँदा पठनपाठनमा समस्या – प्रधानाध्यापक जोशी

चितवन । इच्छाकामना गाउँपालिकास्थित विद्यालयमा विद्यार्थीहरु प्रायः नियमित आउने गरेका छैनन् । विशेष गरी चेपाङ समुदायका बाहुल्य भएका सो बस्तीका विद्यालयमा विद्यार्थीहरु नियमित नआउने गरेका हुन् । कक्षा ३ सम्म पढाई हुने श्री सूर्यज्योति राष्ट्रिय आधारभूत विद्यालयमा ३५ जना विद्यार्थी भर्ना भएका छन् । तर नियमित रुपमा भने २० जनाको हाराहारीमा विद्यालय आउँछन् । अधिकांश चेपाङ बालबालिका अध्ययनरत यस विद्यालयमा आउने विद्यार्थीले कलम कापी नै नल्याउँदा पठनपाठनमा समस्या हुने गरेको विद्यालयकी प्रधानाध्यापक शकिला जोशीले बताउनुभयो ।

“चेपाङ समुदायका बालबालिका नियमित विद्यालय आउँदैनन्, आएकाले पनि कापी कलम नै ल्याउदैनन्, पठनपाठनमा समस्या छ”, प्रधानाध्यापक जोशीले भन्नुभयो । विद्यालय खाजा कार्यक्रम हटेपछि ती समुदायका बालबालिका नियमित विद्यालय आउन छाडेको उहाँले भन्नुभयो । प्रधानाध्यापक जोशीका अनुसार भौगोलिक विकट रहेको यस विद्यालयमा सहयोगी संस्था पनि पुग्ने गरेका छैनन् । विद्यालयले पनि विद्यार्थीलाई कापी, कलम दिन सकिने अवस्था छैन । वडा नं २ कै आधारभूत राष्ट्रिय विद्यालय मायाटारमा पनि चेपाङ विद्यार्थी कापी कलमबिना नै विद्यालय आउने गरेको सो विद्यालयका प्रधानाध्यापक पदमबहादुर चेपाङले बताउनुभयो । एक सय ७३ विद्यार्थी रहेको सो विद्यालयमा ७५ प्रतिशत चेपाङ सुमदायका बालबालिका अध्ययनरत छन् ।

कक्षा एक देखि आठसम्म पढाइ हुने यस विद्यालयमा ८०÷८५ विद्यार्थी मात्र नियमित आउने गर्छन् । वडा नं ६ स्थित श्री राष्ट्रिय आधारभूत विद्यालय चनौटेको समस्या पनि उस्तै छ । कक्षा एक देखि आठसम्म पढाइ हुने सो विद्यालयमा पनि १२५ विद्यार्थी भर्ना भएका छन् । विद्यालयको नियमित हाजिरीमा भने ७०÷७५ जनाको हाराहारीमा मात्र देखिन्छ । विद्यालयमा आउँदा अधिकांश विद्यार्थीले कापी कलम ल्याउँदैनन् । यहाँ भने घर्ती समुदायका बालबालिका अध्ययनरत छन् । घर्ती समुदायको पनि आर्थिक अवस्था र चेतनाको स्तर चेपाङ समुदायको जस्तै रहेको विद्यालयका सहयोगी कर्मचारी कृष्णबहादुर घर्ती बताउँछन् ।

आर्थिक अभावका कारण नै विद्यार्थी नियमित विद्यालय आउन नसक्ने राष्ट्रिय आधारभूत विद्यालयकी प्रधानाध्यापक भावना खनियाँ बताउनुहुन्छ । विद्यार्थी विद्यालय आउँदा कापी कलमसमेत नलिइकन आउने गरेको उहाँले भन्नुभयो । विशेषगरी जाडोमा न्यानो कपडा नहुनु र विद्यालय खाजा कार्यक्रमको व्यवस्था नहँुदा बालबालिका नियमित आउन नसकेको प्रअ खनियाँको भनाइ छ । गाउँपालिकाका शिक्षा अधिकृत दीपक सिग्देलले विशेष गरी चेपाङ बालबालिकालाई नियमित विद्यालयसम्म ल्याउन कठिनाइ भएको स्वीकार गर्नुहुन्छ । उहाँका अनुसार आर्थिक अभावका कारण नै चेपाङ बालबालिका नियमित विद्यालय आउदैनन् । रोकिएको खाजा कार्यक्रमलाई निरन्तरता दिनुपर्ने सिग्देलको भनाइ छ । विपन्नता र गरीबीका कारण विशेष गरी चेपाङ समुदायका बालबालिकालाई नियमित विद्यालय ल्याउन कठिनाई भइरहेका छन् । चेपाङ समुदायको बसोबास रहेका यस गाउँपालिकाका विद्यालयमा खाजा कार्यक्रम अझै पनि आवश्यक रहेको सिग्देलको भनाइ छ । (रासस)
